Speech on the
Occasion of the Appointment of the President and Managing
Director
My
predecessor as Company President created a business that is
today supported by a vast number of customers, an
enterprise that was built up in the days when we were all
pioneering the foam plastic industry. I would like to take
the opportunity afforded by this occasion to assure you all
that I fully intend to build further and constructively on
the foundations that my predecessor established and to do
everything that is within my own power in order to make a
meaningful contribution to the development of our Corporate
activities, to our industry as a whole and, furthermore, to
society at large.
The
environment in which we now find ourselves poses many
problems for us all. Nonetheless, I am fully resolved to
collaborate closely with all interested parties, including
of course our own employees, and it is my firm belief that,
by virtue of producing work that is of benefit to large
numbers of people, we can together create an enterprise
that is capable of making a genuine contribution to the
well-being of society.
By virtue of
taking full advantage of the inherent characteristics
possessed by foam plastics, of lightness, of heat
insulation, of shock absorption and of sound insulation, my
intention is that we produce and export to global markets
products and technologies that are beneficial in terms of
being environment-friendly, and I also intend that we aim
to become a truly global enterprise in which we can all
continue to grow together. In conclusion, I would like to
emphasize that it is my sincere hope that, as a result of
our business activities, we can share together all over the
world a sense of satisfaction and contentment, not only
together with our customers but also with society as a
whole, not forgetting of course every single one of our own
employees.
